Location of Photo(s): My Room in Northern Liberties, Ortlieb’s
What do those location(s) mean to you?: My first job out of college was working down the street at Ruba Club. I was booking shows and events and helping manage the place for about 3 years. I found some old documents which sparked my interest in the history of the area and the neighborhood. While working there I fell in love with the music scene and the people. I found myself going to Ortlieb’s a lot after work and meeting up with Josh from Cheerleader. Ortlieb's is always fun and you can catch some great bands every week. I ended up moving here a few months ago. I work a lot out of my room. I have a collection of all my gear and guitars in here as well as old records and books. It’s my happy place.
Favorite Place in Philly: Ortlieb’s | My Room

What are you listening to now: I want to say something cool that you never heard before but I can’t. Mac Demarco, Ryan Adams, Dawes, Bruce, Local Natives, Tame Impala. The CRUISR dudes got me into The 1975. I’ve also been on a Radiohead kick (It happens every few months).
Best show you’ve seen in Philly: Daughter at Kung Fu Necktie and The National at the Mann Center. Both insanely beautiful shows.
Life motto: "Someday we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny" -Bruce
Random Fun Fact: I just saw Van Morrison and it was great. I also love surfing. I make websites.
Childhood Dream Job: Field goal kicker for The NY Jets.
Pets: My parents have two really little dogs in Jersey, Sugar and Roxy. I love them.
Future plans: Putting out some music with Cheerleader and doing some shows in the Spring. Filling in on bass for CRUISR. Casually putting out some of my own music just for fun.
